The prime suspect in Bairadi teen’s murder case, who was arrested on February 16 and paraded by police on February 17, has now revealed the location where deceased person’s watch lies.
The detainee, 17, assisted the police in finding the watch located around the incident site.
He revealed that he had thrown away her watch into a stream to the west from the place where the victim’s shoes were located.
Spokesperson of Sudur Pashchim Province Police Office, Senior Superintendent of Police Mukesh Kumar Singh confirmed that the watch was located accordingly.
The victim, a grade XII student at the local Sanatan Dharma School from Chadepani, Dogadakedar Rural Municipality-7, Baitadi, went missing on February 4 and was found lifeless in the community forest on February 5.
After two weeks of this incident, police made a breakthrough and made the accused public on February 17. As per the police, the suspect who had earlier stated that the suspect had admitted to his crimes, although admitted to have committed the murder- has denied the allegations on raping the victim.
