menstruation cycle in female
Menstruation is the monthly flow of blood carrying the damaged endometrial lining tissue of uterus and unfertilized ovum through vagina. The menstruation is seen in human, monkeys, gorilla, e.t.c.
During puberty to menopause, the ovaries, uterus, vagina, mammary glands and external genitalia undergoes a number of cyclic changes. It is a series of cyclic changes that occur in the reproductive tract of human female with a periodicity of 28 days. It is characterized by the loss of vaginal blood for few days. It occurs normally at about 13 years of age till the age of 50-55 years. It influenced by certain hormones, secreted by pituitary gland and ovary.
It is natural process but the society like ours who are narrow-minded think this thing as a some kind of unacceptable thing. In the name of tradition, in villages they use to make their daughter to sleep in a place where they used to keep their cattle. For whole menstruation period, they used to be keep their, not allowed to keep step in kitchen and behavior that they show to her is just unacceptable
In fact this menstruation period, the parents should teach their daughter to tackle about this and how to be hygiene but the thing they do is just opposite. Not blaming to all parents but blaming those who did not care their daughter in this kind of period and left the things on themselves to take care of in the name of some ‘prat ha’.
We should make them know that menstruation is observed when the ovum remains unfertilized and the level of progesterone in the blood decreases and result in breaking down the bools vessels of endometrium and loss of about 50-100 ml of blood along with some mucus through the vaginal orifice and not to be afraid from menstruation cycle as it occurs after 28 days.
