Health is wealth we all know that but do we really know how to be healthy? The person who possess sound health,he can do everything in life. He can enjoy his life. But regarding the definition ,health means different things to different people. According to WHO health means ‘A state of complex physical, mental and social well- being, not merely the absence of disease or infirmity’.
The one who possess the strength of mind,body and soul is a healthy man. He can work hard and accomplish his mission in life. He does not give up his hope and lose his heart easily. On the other hand, an unhealthy person scares of problems and becomes timid. He does merely witness courage vanish from him and gets upset or despair. So,he can’t be happy though he is wealthy. His life becomes great burden to him. This kind of logic proves that price of our good health is good life. If a man wants to be healthy,he should maintain plural things from entire surrounding quite congenial.
The first and foremost thing is personal cleanliness. We should keep his body always tidy. He should take bath frequently and put on clean dress. Similarly, the house should be clean and well ventilated. Likewise, balance diet is also a must for good hygiene. We should take nourishing food. We should eat plenty of milk,meat,fish ,eggs,fruits and green vegetables together with clean drinking water, for impure water gives birth to multi-diseases. We should eat an apple a day as we know a proverb “an apple a day keeps doctor away”. Not only diet food but physical exercise are also needed.
Physical exercise like jogging,walking, swimming and playing games should be done in our regular day. Jogging in the morning and evening not only makes him energetic but also inhale fresh air within him. Yet physical exercise should not excessive for it can cost a huge ransom. Together with plenty of rest, sleep and entertainment are essential. Over work degrades or spoils the health. So he should take rest and enjoy by listening music,watching TV ,playing games and even by cinema going. They not only redeem boredom and anxiety, but also lend him freshness and new enthusiast. They illuminate his vision of fancy as well. And also green leaf makes our eye vision good. Maintenance of good health means the unison of all the elements. Health education should be introduced and taught in school and college level.
